Ten years ago when Friends of Shahnameh decided to celebrate Ferdowsi and his Shahnameh, we never expected we would still be going and planing the annual celebration of Ferdowsi which is celebrated in Iran on 15th May.
During the past ten years we were supported by groups and individuals which irrespective of their level of knowledge about Ferdowsi shared a passion for culture and Persian literature. It hasn't always been a smooth road and from time to time we were faced with problems that we had to overcome. This year the Coronavirus pandemic has forced us to change our plans for celebrating the tenth year anniversary. Friends of Shahnameh will start the annual celebration from Thursday 7th May through social media.
This is a general call to those who are interested in sharing their views on Shahnameh or Ferdowsi. If you are interested in reading some of the stanzas of Shahnameh or other relevant topics please share a video which we will upload on Thursday 7th May.
Please send your video to sangrezeh@yahoo.co.uk or @sangrezeh on Instagram. Your videos will be shared on Friends of Shahnameh social channels (Facebook, Telegram and whatsapp).Others can add their comments and their views on each post.

موقعیت کنونی مانع از انجام برنامه‌هایی است که برای دهمین سالگرد بزرگداشت فردوسی در منچستر در نظر داشتیم. با این حال در ادامه راه و برای اینکه امسال هم یادی از ابرمرد فرهنگ ایران و ناجی زبان فارسی، فردوسی و شاهنامه او داشته باشیم از همگان دعوت به عمل میاوریم تا چنانچه در این رابطه صحبتی یا نقدی بر ابیات شاهنامه دارند یا مایلند تا ابیات انتخابی خود را با ما شریک شوند ویدئویی از اجرای خود گرفته و آنرا از طریق ایمیل زیر یا اینستاگرام برای من بفرستند تا آنرا به نام خودشان در گروه دوستان شاهنامه به اشتراک بگذارم
