Friends of Shahnameh has been celebrating the Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi in Manchester for the past ten years. The 10th year anniversary of the group coincided with the quarantine period in 2020.
This year to mark the Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi, Friends of Shahnameh delivered on-line programs such as the interview with Prof. Charles Melville and Dr. Firuza Melville about the Shahnama project and a talk by Prof. Jo Ann Cavallo on "Teaching the legend of Seyavash in Columbia University's Global Core curriculum.”
