Contemporary Yet Ancient

One of the Persian masterpieces exhibited in the  museum of Islamic Arts, Doha

 It was hard to imagine this was a tile from 17th century Iran. Based on the style of the painting and the range of colours it could have easily been a contemporary piece in any modern art gallery.
