Tragedy-pickers

It is an honour to use my writing to remember the 23 Chinese cockle pickers who tragically died at Morecambe bay. So many times I walked into the Whitworth Art Gallery and was amazed by the exhibitions there. This time I will be amongst the groups performing there.  

I'll be performing my Tragedy-pickers piece, as part of DIPACT's response (Sombre Dreams work in progress) to Isaac Julien's Ten Thousands Waves. It would be nice to see some of you there. It's a free event.

Multi artform presentation of ‘Sombre Dreams’ by DIPACT, a new commission by the Whitworth and ArtReach. DIPACT is a 'Diverse/Digital Innovative Platform for Arts, Communities and Technology/Theatre' for diverse artists from any background. Their new work responds to Isaac Julien’s Ten Thousand Waves film installation, currently on display. DIPACT will also create a video installation as part of the visual art exhibition.

دومین نمایشنامه من

برای نوشتن دومین تاترم آماده می شوم، این کار به صورت "تک گویی" خواهد بود و خودم هم قرار است که آنرا روی صحنه  اجرا  کنم. تاتر به زبان انگلیسی است و مثل تاتر اولم

ریشه در تجارب زندگی من به عنوان فردی مهاجر دارد و به مناسبت روز جهانی زن در سه شنبه 8 مارس روی صحنه خواهد رفت

Getting ready for my second theatre experience, which would be in the form of monologue.  

"On Tuesday 8th March 2016, Women in the Spotlight will be showcasing their work, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Women in the Spotlight will each showcase a ten minute sketch or performance poetry set at the Three Minute Theatre. تجربه ی تماشای ترسا

کاورانی را به جلو بردن در همواری راه هم کاری شاق است، چه رسد در عرصه ی هنر آن هم در دیار غربت. بخصوص که جسارت قدم فراتر نهادن از مرز زبان و فرهنگی خاص را نیز داشته باشی. از این بابت تاتر ترسا (اقتباسی از داستان شیخ صنعان عطار) که به مدت سه روز در منچستر بروی صحنه رفت* کاری درخور ستایش بود

شاید بیشتر به قصد حمایت به تماشاخانه رفتم. ولی حضورم توشه ای بیش از "شاهد کار تیمی خوبی بودن" را بهمراه داشت.  برای من اجرای علی امینی پور و موسیقی زنده ی نمایش از برجسته ترین قسمت های اجرا بود، ولی جا دارد به تمامی گروه بخصوص به مسئول میکس صدا آفرین گفت
