This event celebrates the rich heritage of Zagros Nomadic culture and brings together local ethnic groups, artists, and organisations to honour the diversity and creativity within our communities in Greater Manchester.

So it's 2025!

Happy New Year!

I was hoping to start this year’s review with something positive. But the more I thought about it, the more depressing the past year appeared. And unfortunately, it seems that we are heading towards even more difficult times. I know I am overlooking a lot of happy occasions. But with the hatred pandemic, insanity of the world’s leaders, the going trend of constant price rise and the current humanity’s famine, all directly impacting on each and every one of us, it’s difficult to remain positive. Overall, the 2024 has been a challenging year in many ways. It has been a year of genocide, pain and disappointment as injustice prevailed in many fronts. Still, one mustn’t lose hope.  

(Sorry for the lack of upbeat tone and not writing about highlights of the year or future plans. I simply couldn’t. May the 2025 be a better year.)
