Diamond jubilee: 2 opposite poles
There was no shortage of union jacks around, as a lot of British took to the streets and celebrated the queen’s diamond jubilee on 3th June 2012 . Although there were a few protesting against monarchy, both groups tolerated each other extremely well. There certainly was a lesson to learn.
دیدن انبوه مردمی که شصتمین سالگرد سلطنت ملکه انگلیس را جشن می گرفتند عجیب نبود. گردهمایی اقلیتی هم که در میان آنها بر ضد سلطنت تظاهرات می کردند عجیب نبود. بارش باران استوایی هم که عادی بود
ولی حضور آرام هر دو دسته زیر باران و در کنار هم و نمایش صبر و تحملی که انگلیسی ها بدان معروف هستند یکی که صحنه های دیدنی بود
