 I was one of the lucky 7 co-writers and performers who got to work under the leadership of Rani Moorthy creating 'Standing in my own truth'. Our play premiered at the Arnolfini Theatre in Bristol on Tuesday. The pictures above tell the story of our visit. 

Our play is coming to Manchester on Wednesday 22nd June at 7.00 (at Z-Arts).

A murky domain at first glance.
A sense of #creation that wiggles through the dense #pain. Rising #words soon crossed out on the page. Eyes turn red.
We #can #write the story that should be told.

A journey in the wonder inn

I followed the Les Trois Mousquetaires as they wandered in the Wonder Inn.

Inside, there were others

Soon the empty chairs were to be occupied by 16 (turned 12) artists.

Cameras checked...

...and volunteers helped.

Soon everyone was busy working.

There were lots of research...

...discussion 

...different ways.

Ideas developed.

We had lots of support...

...as ideas further developed and pieces written.

We were painting the town red...

...using a green screen!

It wasn't just work; we stopped for lunch :)

I got to observe the Artist's mind...

 

...and lots of other fantastic artists at work.

But best of all I made my own Formulary :)
