In collaboration with Multitudes Zine Fest, Friends of Shahnameh is running a free zine workshop for adults and children on the 5th April 2-4pm, at Gatley Hill House (Church Rd, Gatley, Cheadle SK8 4EY). Places are limited and are based on first come, first served basis. You can book your free ticket by clicking here.

Materials such as paper, glue, colours and old magazines will be provided for you to make a 1-page zine but you can bring anything you want. It can be words or pictures. To make the simplest zine all you need is a paper and pen.

What shall I make my zine about?

You can make it about anything you want. Any words, any pictures, any language. However, if you'd like to exhibit your work at the annual Ferdowsi day on the12th May please note zines on the following topics (Shahnameh, books, family and nature) could be displayed at an exhibition held on the 14th Commemoration Day of Ferdowsi, subject to Terms & Conditions. There will be 3 age groups for the zines submitted for the exhibition.

• Under 8 years old

• 8 to 16 years old

• Over 16 and adults

Multitudes Zine Festival will print 15 copies of finished zines. We'll send 10 to you for you to hand out or sell or leave as an unexpected gift on a bus seat. We'll keep the remaining 5 to feature in the Multitudes Zine Fest in 2024 on 17th August.

طراحی مجله از مطالب دلخواه خودتان در کارگاه رایگان زین با دوستان شاهنامه

کارگاه زین (جمعه 5 آوریل ساعت 2 تا 4)  با همکاری خانم هینا پتال. برای نام‌نویسی رایگان و رزرو جا اینجا کلیک نمایید.

شرکت در این کارگاه برای همگان رایگان می‌باشد.

علاقمندان می‌توانند مجله طرح خود را در گروههای سنی زیر در چهاردهمین بزرگداشت فردوسی (12 مه) به نمایش بگذارنند.

- کودکان تا هشت سال

- نوجوانان بین هشت تا شانزده سال

- افراد بالاتر از شانزده سال و بزرگسالان

چهار جستار زیر برای دوستانی است که می‌خواهند در نمایشگاه دوستان شاهنامه شرکت کنند. افرادی که علاقمند به شرکت مجله خود در نمایشگاه نیستند مختارند تا در هر موضوعی مجله خود را طراحی نمایید.

لطفا عکس‌های مورد علاقه خود (برای نمونه عکس‌هایی از شاهنامه) را از قبل پرینت کرده و همراه بیاورید. در صورت تمایل می‌توانید خودتان در مجله نقاشی کنید یا حتی کتابچه‌ای با مطالب و بدون تصویر (مثلا اشعار شاهنامه) طراحی نمایید.

حضور یکی از والدین برای همراهی کودکان در کارگاه الزامی است.

پانزده کپی از مجله طراحی شده شما برایتان چاپ خواهد شد. ده کپی به خودتان داده خواهد شد و پنج کپی برای شرکت در نمایشگاه آثار زین نزد خانم پتال خواهد ماند.
