2022 is coming to its end. The past year has been a year of two halves. The first part has been like many years before, but the second half ... Unbelievable! People of Iran started widespread protests after Mahsa Amini (the 22 year old Iranian woman) was killed by the morality police on the 16 September 2022. For me Women Life Freedom movement is the most important event of the 2022.
2023 starts when a lot of Iranians killed or arrested during peaceful protests demanding their basic human rights. On the 1th November The Gardian reported that "According to the UN, an estimated 14,000 people, including children, have been detained by the regime since the protests began more than eight weeks ago, after the 22-year-old Mahsa Amini died in custody having been arrested by Iran’s morality police."
I hope Women Life Freedom Movement result in better days for Iran and Iranians.
