Khayam

It's about time that Google has added a picture of #Khayam, the Iranian genius (1048-1131) whose work on mathematics and astronomy is still referred to today. His Jalali calendar (calculated 900 years ago) is also still in use. He was also a musician and a poet. Today, his almost millennium old poetry, Rubaiyat or their translation can be found in all the reputable bookshops across the world.
